Never. Well... at least, not in THIS case. Wilson Island, our preferred
spot, is close enough that it could almost be considered "affordable",
gas-wise.

Our preferred site at Wilson Island is an "undefined" spot. That means there
is no "pad" at all. I pull well off the beaten path and legally/properly
enjoy the relative seclusion such a site offers.

Since it rained all morning Thursday, the day of my departure, and it has been
a wet spring, I decided it would be prudent to NOT attempt to 4-wheel-drive my
lashup "overland" and risk damaging the turf at least or getting STUCK at
worst.

Da chanca da Flood?
Potentially SOGGY ground.

We had a good time at Two Rivers, though, camped high-and-dry on their "new"
asphalt camping pad. Your visit was appreciated and I got a lot of good
reading in. The crowd was pretty well behaved. We had a good time.
