At looks like the fart wasn't as felonious as the scuffle that ensued.

Memo to staff: research a class-action because the jail didn't include
a warning label on the food:

WARNING: actually feeding upon your daily ration of cornbread and beans
(with a dollop of molasses) may cause forced flatuence. Forced
flatuence is not a felony; however, repeated forced flatuence near a
fellow felon may force the fellow felon to force a felony upon you in a
attempt to modify your forced flatuence.
