Last time I heard the Mighty Wurlitzer was in the Main Theater.

Last time I heard the Mighty Wurlitzer was in the Main Theater.
Have they moved the organ?
Not that I know of. In fact, I would consider it mostly impossible due to the
sheer mass of the instrument. There's no other space in the theater - or
Omaha, for that matter, I suspect - that could accommodate it.

I am not familiar with Slosburg Hall.
Me, either.

My guess is that someone named Slosburg gave a WHOLE bunch of money to Omaha
Performing Arts, gratitude for which was to affix their name to the great room
(theater) that has been there since 1927.

I'm planning to go but should probably motivate on getting tickets.

Krusty nailed it: Slosburg gave a chunk of change to Omaha Performing
Arts (who has the management contract for the Orpheum as well as the
Holland Center) and voila' "Slosburg Hall is now the main seating area
at the Orpheum.

Which of course no one except Omaha Performing Arts calls it! <g>
